LADYTON LOCH WALK AND AFTERNOON TEA - 150 YEARS OF LACE (GALSTON)
Join us for a relaxing afternoon tea after your walk around Ladyton Loch Loop.
When: Saturday 9th May
Time: 3.00 pm.
Where: Hogg Hall, Irvine Valley Parish Church, Galston
This event is for walkers and no-walkers. Come along and unwind with a delicious selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and refreshments.

NEWMILNS SHOW
A long-standing agricultural and rural event held on the first Saturday of June.
When: Saturday 6th June
Time: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm (approx.)
Where: Lower Showfield, Loudoun Castle
The show features a variety of livestock competitions, horse classes, horticulture, handicrafts, trade stands and family entertainment. It is a celebration of the area's farming heritage and community spirit and attracts visitors from across the region.

NEWMILNS GALA DAY
Newmilns Gala Day is one of the highlights of the summer calendar and forms part of Newmilns Gala Week.
When: Saturday 26th July
Time: 12.00 noon - 5.00 pm (approx)
Where: Jamieson Park to Greenside
The parade will assemble at Jamieson Park and leave at 12 noon, making its way through the town to Greenside. The afternoon programme at Greenside will include entertainment, stalls, activities and family attractions.

THE LACE EXHIBITIONS
A three day event, joining up the three valley towns and part of the 2026 Lace Festival.
When: Wednesday 7th - Saturday 10th October

Where: Darvel Town Hall, Morton Hall Newmilns, Galston Town Hall
Explore historical artifacts, exquisite lace collections and a breathtaking scrim painting commissioned by the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Don't miss this once-in-a-century milestone. Make a day of it and enjoy a warm welcome in our local coffee shops and pubs.

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN TRAIL
Get ready for a frightfully fun evening on our Spooky Halloween Trail.
When: Friday 30th October
Time: 6.00 pm - 8.00 pm
Where: Registration at NRA CHaT Hub, 4 Brown Street
Follow the trail, discover themed stops along the way, and enjoy plenty of Halloween surprises. Dress up in your best spooky costume and join us for a thrilling night of community fun.
We can’t wait to see all the ghosts, ghouls, and little monsters there.

NEWMILNS PANTO - PUSS IN BOOTS
The annual Newmilns Panto promises an evening of laughter, music and family entertainment.

Where: Morton Hall
Expect colourful costumes, lively audience participation and plenty of festive fun for all ages.
This year’s production of Puss in Boots is brought to you by Newmilns & Greenholm Community Council, with the show produced by Geez a Break Productions.
