FESTIVAL FUN

Newmilns Food Festival established in 2016 by the Newmilns Regeneration Association and ran annually until 2019 (pre-Covid). In 2019, Nearly 100 quality food and drink stalls and vendors showcased the very best culinary delights that Scotland has to offer.

On top of those top class stalls and vendors, the festival had a demonstration area with a programme full of tantalizing displays and food tips for the avid chef. As well as demonstrations, a fully stocked food court offered a variety of food and drink to go, as well as a licensed bar.

Outside of the marquee, there was additional outdoor food vendors, children’s activities and all sorts of entertainment designed to make this a fun day for the whole family.

A highlight was celebrity chef, Tony Singh, who prepared two delicious Scottish dishes for the festival.

As well as the Food Festival, the Newmilns Regeneration Association, also ran the Newmilns Arts and Crafts Festival and included a whole host of extra events for the weekend including a classic car rally.
