CORRA Foundation - Household Hardship Fund Grant
We are pleased to say we were successful in applying for a Household Hardship grant of £5,250 from the CORRA Foundation.
The purpose of the Household Hardship Fund was to provide small grants to charities and community groups across Scotland, who can pass the funding on directly to families and individuals on low incomes.
Below is the breakdown of how the grant was distributed throughout Newmilns.

The grant was distributed in three ways:
- £1,750 given to Newmilns Food Hub (£750 shop to restock with requested items, £1,000 in vouchers to distributed as needed)

- £1,750 for Senior Citizens (we worked with Newmilns Ladies Social who identified 70 Newmilns senior residents who each received a £25 Tesco voucher)

- £1,750 for Newmilns Primary & ECC (£500 towards snack provision for those in hardship, £500 towards school trips for those in hardship, £750 in vouchers to distribute to families as needed).

Thanks to the CORRA Foundation for supporting our grant application to the Household Hardship Fund.
