King's Coronation Celebration
Thanks to everyone who contributed to make our King's Coronation Community Celebration a day to remember!
The Picnic Afternoon Tea, live TV screening of the Coronation and the Children's Fun Day saw all the community come together to celebrate.
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make it a success and worked hard preparing everything, all those who helped today including the 16th Ayrshire Scouts, the volunteers helping in the Church Hall and to Newmilns and Greenholm AFC.
The sandwiches and cakes from The Bobbin Café, Bubba's Bakes Cakes and Cup & Cake went down a treat, and the table centre pieces from Thistle Du Florist looked stunning!
Lastly, we'd like to thank the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland who made it all possible.

The Newmilns Christmas Fayre will be held in Morton Hall on Saturday, 29th November, between 4 and 6 pm. The Christmas Light Switch-on will take place at 6 pm at Kirkgate Gardens, with Newmilns & Galston Brass Band playing in the lead-up to the big switch-on. Santa will also be visiting the Church Hall between 4 -6 pm, pre-booking at: lovenewmilns.org/santa
The 2025 Annual General Meeting of Newmilns Regeneration Association will take place on Monday, 24 November, in the CHaT Hub, 4 Brown Street at 7 pm.
Newmilns Regeneration Association are delighted to release £2,500 from the 8th round of funding from Newmilns Lottery Community Fund. Applications are now invited from Newmilns groups to apply for part or all of this fund. Funds must be used for projects or improvements that benefit people living in Newmilns and Greenholm. Application forms are available by emailing lotto@lovenewmilns.org . The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday, 26th October 2025 . The successful applicants will be notified by Wednesday, 29th October 2025. This would not have been possible without the people who participate in the Newmilns Lottery every month.
